The artworks below were made during a favorite prints meet dozens of ready-made hardwood panels in my nephew's workshop. Posted up for a couple of months ~ something new was always going to happen.
Lovely odds ’n’ sods are so sad, bright art prints dreaming in dark portfolios are tragic, but put them together..!
Unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, printed, signed and hand-made to retain raw edges, board curves, machine marks, high grain texture, just like they were found. Prints and are varnished with texture-enhancing brushstrokes.
Sometimes, your best creative comes when you are just playing with ideas, don't you think? Not intending a final product, just trying materials, new ways to present and protect art. I really enjoyed the workshop time putting these parts together. Then I had the notion to reach out to friends and family as the next responsible thing to do now I had made all these bright new babies! One-time projects, and a perfect chance to enhance or begin your collection.
