Then the sun appears from a spring storm, and spellbound, all you can do is try to catch your breath. Turning your head, you see Bridal Veil Falls cascading snow-melta thousand feet to meet the Merced River below.

Ansel Adams made Half Dome famous to the world. I was told more of Yosemite by a famous rock climber in England, "go to California Jamie!" he said ~ I was ready for a post-art school adventure, so I did.

Now, understanding the rock, knowing how it feels for days in your hands, I paint the granite with brushes in-hand, and I think there will never be a last time.
