The Art of Photography reeled me in like so many spools of film, early in college years. Pair that passion with a penchant for travel, add nature the muse, a painter photographer beguiled and here we all are, meeting at last.
The artworks below were made during a favorite prints meet dozens of ready-made hardwood panels week, in my nephew's workshop. Lovely odds ’n’ sods are sad, bright art prints in dark portfolios are tragic, but put them together…Magic!
These "Collects" are all unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Hand-printed, signed and hand-made to retain raw edges, board curves, machine marks, high grain texture, just like they were found. Prints and are varnished with texture-enhancing brushstrokes. All different, great starter "collectables."
